Orit Tsarfati Interior Design

Interiors planned around the people who live in them, drawn in full before anything is built.

Every project starts with the way you actually live, and ends with a space that fits it precisely.

What we do

A selection of our work

Living room with a built-in oak bench running to full-height garden doors

Living Rooms

We plan living rooms around natural light, warm materials and built-in joinery, so the room holds an ordinary weekday evening as comfortably as it holds a house full of guests.

Compact kitchen with an oak island, brass tap and concealed lighting

Kitchens

A kitchen is resolved here before a single cabinet is ordered: work zones, storage, appliances, lighting and the exact finish of every surface you will touch each morning.

Children's room with built-in bunk beds, drawer steps and a pegboard wall

Bedrooms & Children's Rooms

Bedrooms are designed to be quiet and enveloping, and children's rooms are planned to grow with the child instead of being replaced in three years.

Bathroom with a poured plaster vanity above a herringbone brick floor

Bathrooms

Bathrooms built from poured plaster, brick and stone, where the storage, the lighting and the fall of the floor are all decided before the first tile is cut.

Why work with us

Because beauty should come out of your brief, not out of a catalogue.

NO. 1

Every detail is drawn, specified and checked on paper before it is built on site.

NO. 2

One studio runs the project from the first plan to the final handover, so nothing falls between trades.

NO. 3

Photorealistic 3D visualisation lets you walk through the room and approve it before it exists.

NO. 4

The plan is made to stay functional long after the photographs of it are taken.

Our approach

Our work begins where the standard solution ends: we would rather solve the difficult plan than repeat the easy one.

This paragraph introduces Orit and the studio: her background, the kind of projects she takes on, and what working with her looks like from the first meeting onwards.

Selected project

Visualisation of a residential tower with deep planted balconies above a green district
Visualisation of a furnished apartment terrace opening to a wide view
Visualisation of a residential masterplan around a park with a lake and play areas
Floor plan of an apartment block with the landscaping drawn around it

Residential schemes, seen before they are built

Architectural visualisation, made with other studios

Long before a building exists, the image of it does. We produce architectural visualisation for residential schemes in collaboration with other studios: the tower with its planted balconies, the terrace opening to a wide view, the neighbourhood arranged around its park, each shown as it will actually be lived in. It is the same judgement we apply inside a single home, carried up to the scale of a district.

Client words

What our clients say

I'd been putting the kitchen off for two years because I couldn't picture it. Seeing it drawn first meant the only surprise on the day was how much light we'd gained.
Michal L.
What I didn't expect was how little I had to chase anyone. One person held the whole thing, and the trades turned up already knowing what to do.
Daniel K.
We were told a children's room would need redoing in five years. Ours has already changed twice without a single thing being replaced.
